Proton already includes security tinting as a standard feature for specific models like the Proton X90 (Flagship and Premium) and the newer Proton S70 (Flagship and Flagship X). They plan to offer this factory-installed tinting on more models soon.

The company says it's better to get tints from the original manufacturer (OEM) instead of adding them later. They use precise pre-cut dies for a better fit, have strict quality checks, follow JPJ regulations, and avoid common issues with aftermarket tints. Plus, all tints done at Proton's tint center come with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty.

"By handling the fitting process ourselves, we can ensure better quality control and give customers more peace of mind. Our tint center can currently handle up to 5,000 vehicles per month and is ready to accommodate any increase in demand as we include tinting as a standard feature on more Proton models."
