Malaysia Fuel Prices Updated for January 15–21, 2026


The Ministry of Finance has announced the latest fuel prices for the period from January 15 to January 21, 2026, with several fuel types seeing slight reductions. The price of unsubsidised RON95 petrol has been lowered by two sen to RM2.52 per litre, while RON97 petrol is now priced at RM3.08 per litre, down three sen from the previous week.

Meanwhile, subsidised RON95 petrol under the Budi Madani RON95 (Budi95) scheme remains unchanged at RM1.99 per litre. The subsidised fuel is available to Malaysians with a valid driving licence, with a monthly quota of 300 litres. For diesel, Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends have been reduced by five sen to RM2.84 per litre. The Euro 5 B7 blend, which is priced 20 sen higher, now costs RM3.04 per litre.

Diesel prices in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remain unchanged at RM2.15 per litre. All prices take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, January 21, 2026, when the next weekly fuel price update will be announced.
