2026 Honda City Facelift Now Open for Booking in Malaysia

Honda Malaysia has officially opened bookings for the new facelifted Honda City, bringing a fresh look and several updates to the popular B-segment sedan.

The biggest changes can be seen on the outside. The City now gets a sharper front design, slimmer LED headlights, larger daytime running lights and a redesigned grille. Higher variants also feature a light bar connecting the headlights. The front and rear bumpers have been redesigned as well, giving the sedan a more modern appearance.

At the back, the City keeps its familiar taillight design but receives a new bumper with a sportier look. The RS variant gets additional black exterior details and new 16-inch turbine-style alloy wheels.

Inside, the changes are more limited. The facelifted City now comes with ambient lighting and a larger 10-inch infotainment screen, replacing the previous 8-inch unit. The 360-degree camera system has also been improved with a new multi-view display.

For safety, the City continues to offer Honda Sensing as standard. A new addition is Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, while the LaneWatch camera remains available.

There are no major changes under the bonnet. The petrol version continues with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine, producing 121 PS and 145 Nm, paired with a CVT. The e:HEV hybrid continues with its electric motor and 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle engine.

Bookings are now open through Honda Malaysia’s official website and authorised dealers nationwide. Customers who book before September 30, 2026 can also enjoy a RM3,000 Early Bird Reward.

With its refreshed design, bigger screen and added safety features, the new City looks set to remain a strong choice in Malaysia’s competitive sedan market.
