Budi Madani Fuel Quota Returns to 300 Litres
Good news for Malaysians! The Budi Madani fuel quota has been increased from 200 litres back to 300 litres per month, effective September 1.
The new quota will be updated automatically for eligible Budi95 and Budi Madani Diesel users. Currently, around 16 million Malaysians enjoy subsidised RON95 at RM1.99 per litre.
For private diesel pick-up and jeep owners, there is also a chance to get another 100 litres, bringing the monthly limit up to 400 litres. Approved users will receive the extra quota automatically.
The government said the increase is aimed at helping Malaysians who travel long distances and small traders who rely on their vehicles for daily work.
The 300-litre quota was originally introduced when Budi95 started in 2025, before being reduced to 200 litres in April 2026. Now, the higher limit is back.
Interestingly, the government said less than 1% of users regularly used more than 200 litres a month, with average usage at around 100 litres per month.
